• In Words of My Favorite Shark... I'm Out

  Popularity is at an all time low. Top bloggers are now "Top drama starters". As bad as people say the American economy is doing... If the economy and Xanga had a duel, it would be kicking Xanga's ass and chewing bubble gum right now. Xanga's dying... because of Xanga. Because it's embraced the worst parts of its own democratic self-destruction machine, and thrown the liberties of that same system to the wind. Because they censor people with strong opinions, favor people with their own ideals and because the community whines itself into oblivion.
  
  The theologically retarded community of users see fit to huck squirrels at the popular bloggers over "sensitivity" issues because they say something someone didn't like about cancer or rape. They bombard the brightest writers with complaints and boycotts and anti-whoever movements until the authors become bored with the drama and lose interest. Xanga staff themselves are biased, and in the chaos of "choose a side" - they almost certainly always choose the wrong one. The community is in favor of drama-rich bullshit over good writing and succeeds exceptionally well with attacking anti-theists through "voting" systems and "content reports" until everyone that doesn't paint their fantasy world pink with glitter is silenced or censored beyond the point of being statistically relevant.
